Step 1 - Understand Client Needs

Our first step is to meet with all relevant members of the client team. During this step we will gain a thorough understanding of the company and senior management's vision for the future. We also develop an understanding of the culture and the needs. By meeting with key staff we are able to develop a recruiting strategy that fits their business needs.

Step 2 - Profile Development

We develop a position profile that identifies the key job responsibilities along with skills and traits required in position candidates. This step usually includes meeting with the immediate supervisor and often peers to make sure that we have a clear profile of expectations. This enables us to quickly identify candidates that match requirements and are a cultural/organizational fit for our clients.

After finalizing the position specification, we create a target list of prospective candidates and sources. We review this with our clients. Our intent is to identify any potential contacts that should be either "high priorities" or avoided altogether from the client's point of view.

Step 3 - Candidate Identification and Evaluation

We employ a variety of resources to identify top quality candidates. Once candidates are identified, we conduct in-depth telephone interviews to determine initial fit with the position specifications. This evaluation focuses not only on experience but also on personal qualities and characteristics of the candidate. This enables us to suggest questions for the client to use in candidate interviews.

Step 4 - Candidate Recommendation and Selection

A formal interview summary is submitted along with the resumes of all recommended candidates. Clients can be assured that only those with the potential to meet or exceed expectations are recommended.

We manage the scheduling of client/candidate interviews. This often overlooked component of the search process can be one of the most difficult to coordinate and one of the most critical to ensure speedy completion. We also check references promptly, thoroughly, and discreetly. Degrees and other aspects of the candidate's background are verified before the candidate is personally introduced to the client.

Step 5 - Job Completion and Follow Up

We will assist in the selection process and serve as a liaison during the job offer process. Compensation negotiation is often the most challenging part of a search. We offer insights and strategies to make this aspect proceed smoothly. We provide advice on as many of the aspects of recruitment as possible.

During the first year we provide ongoing consultation with both the client and the candidate to ensure satisfaction.
